A Mountain View High School teacher, her husband and two daughters, have died in a house fire.

The blaze broke out this morning before five o'clock outside Mountain View near Newnata, according to Lori Freeze, editor of the Stone County Leader.

The adult victims are identified as Jeff and Carol Bauerlein. An internet database shows they were both 49-years-old.

Mrs. Bauerlein was an English teacher at the school, according to the Mountain View High School website.

It's not yet known how the fire started, but Freeze says investigators were on the scene all morning and that the home was burned to the ground.
