Board Votes to Close Redfield Middle School

The City of Redfield will lose its only middle school at the end of this school year.
Members of the White Hall School Board voted to close the school at a meeting Tuesday night.
The board says it was a tough call, but the decision had to be made to keep the school from fiscal distress.
Low enrollment, losing federal money for programs and health care costs are some of the reasons cited.
