Lunch is Light During Holidays for Some Local Restaurants

Lunch is light, very light at some local restaurants in Little Rock.

That means fewer bucks in cash registers at local diners.

Owners blame it on the holiday's.

But say marketing is key, having alternatives.

"When you don't see people having their regular spending patterns, travel patterns, they do have abnormal spending patterns such as group events, family get together, office parties things like that, said Ryan Brown."

The Tavern said it does offer gift certificates which also come in as handy stocking stuffers.
