A new attraction at this year's Arkansas State Fair is the Welde's Big Bear Show.

"The Welde family's trained bears perform some incredible stunts. The show is filled with 'bear facts' and highlights the many talents of these entertaining creatures," says State Fair General Manager Ralph Shoptaw.

Welde's Big Bear Show and Grizzly Falls is a family-oriented act that educates as it entertains. Trained grizzly bears show off their unusual skills using ladders, skateboards, hoops and balancing balls, while their trainers tell the fascinating story of the specie's natural behaviors, instincts, habitat and relationship to man.

what a disgrace to our state fair as well as our name natural state to allow animals such as bears that belong in the wild to be use in public just for money. why did the fair even allow them to come here. sick, very sick.

Using these animals as a sideshow is despicable. Not far removed from dog fighting and [censored] fighting as "entertainment." I am remidned of a caged mountain lion I saw at a gas station in New Mexico once. The animal paced continually.
