At
KARK, we're always trying to find ways for you to protect your pocketbook.
Here's a tip for couples planning their wedding.
We
asked soon-to-be brides and grooms, if they'd consider buying wedding
insurance....in case the unthinkable ruins their special day.
With the average cost of a wedding approaching $30,000, wedding insurance is becoming more popular. But not everyone we spoke to is ready to sign up for the insurance.
"I think you should go ahead and have a second place already planned it in case something happens like that," bride Audra Kizzio said.
So
what does it cover?
A
basic policy costs anywhere from $125 to $500 and protects against postponements
due to weather or illness, a missing officiant -- such as your minister,
no-show vendors like the caterer, and damage to your location in case things
get out of hand at the reception.
What
doesn't it cover? The honeymoon....and cold feet!
