It Brings My Daughter and Me Together  -  Jan Snaples/Jacksonville

The reason I race for the cure, is very personal. It`s that one time a year that my daughter and I can do something together. That means so much to the both of us. I am a 5 year survivor of breast cancer. The support of my family is what got me thought that difficult time. Surgery, chemo, it changes your life forever. I believe with all my heart that early detection is the key to recovery. It means alot to me to have that chance to be able to be out there racing with all those incredible women. We all have stories to share with one another. We hug we cry & we laugh with one another! It`s very inspirational. I can hardly wait til Oct. 7!
