Three Surgeries, Eight Chemo Treatments and I am a Survivor  -  Anonymous

In December 2004 my youngest child was reading to me.  And he was finished reading to me and pushed off on me and my Breast hurt.  I did a self exam and felt something.  Went to my regular doctor and he felt a lump as well and scheduled me for a mamogram.  After a few days I had surgury the day after Christmas and the day after my surgery I found out that I had Breast Cancer.  After 3 surgeries and 8 chemo treatments I can now say that I am a Breast Cancer survivor.  I walk not only for me but the other survivors and the people that lost their lives to Cancer.
