I Race for My Sister Who Has Dealt with So Much Already  -  Pam Bartholomew/Hot Springs

I feel it is very important to be involved because it gives hope to the survivors. It encourages them to stay strong, keep fighting & lets them know they are not fighting alone. When they see & here of you involved then they know they are not alone in this fight. I walk for my little sister, Robin Radford ""Sis"". She is 31 yrs. old, married with 3 children ages 13, 10 & 5.Lives in Vacaville, California. She was diagnosed in May 2005 with breast cancer. She had her right breast removed. Went threw kemo, radiation & was going threw herception. The doctors told her she was now cancer free. In August 2006 she was diognoised with brain cancer. They immediately had her stop the hecption & done brain surgery. Then she started back up with radiation on the brain. The doctors now say he is again cancer free. She is having many days of still being sick with throwing up & daily migraine headaches. My husband, 18 yr old son & his girlfriend & I walked the Susan G Koman walk on the 7th of Oct with our team shirts on for my lil sister. We had her picture on the shirt & Team ""Little Sis"" on it. She was very anxious for me to send her one of the shirts we made & send pictures of the walk. She says it is so important & neat that so many people walk. Last yr my family flew her out here from California to walk the ""race for the cure"" walk with us since it was her first yr of being diagnosed. She said she has been to several different kinds of walks in the past, walking in memory of other family members of our`s & the Arkansas walk is the best one she has ever been to.  Our family is praying & trusting God to keep her safe & healthy. We are also thanking God for her healing.  PS....I love you Sis!
