For Selma Brooks - Carole Ann Davis
I am racing in the Susan G. Komen race for the cure because I had the opportunity to work with a most amazing woman. She had breast cancer six years ago on one side, had the surgery, beat the cancer….so she thought. However, earlier this year, the evil monster raised it's head again but she caught it in time, had more surgery and is back to work already.
The first time she came head to head with cancer, she was a mother of two in a happy family. During her time of trial, her husband left her and the two children. She has been a single mother ever since devoted to making sure her two boys grow up to be productive and responsible citizens.
I race for you, Selma Brooks and for all woman who struggle with breast cancer.
