Winning the Battle - Kathy Hooks / Mayflower, AR
2007 marks my 7th year as a survivor-Thank God!! It is my 6th race and once again my friends and family will be with me to celebrate. We will also take this opportunity to remember my aunt who lost her battle with this awful disease almost 2 years ago.
I am so thankful for the research being done, the progress made and pray for a day when this disease no longer will claim a life. Please remember EARLY DETECTION IS THE KEY TO WINNING THE BATTLE. GOD BLESS.
