For the Remarkable Women in my Life - Patricia A. Moreland
In memory of some remarkable women that are and will always be so near to my heart. My sister Viola and I race for Annie Lee Harshaw-Jackson she was our aunt and we loved her so very much. We didn't understand what was going on but she told us about her breast cancer when we were young. She left us over 20 years ago and we made a vow to our mother, who is her baby sister, that we would do this in her memory. Each year it gets harder because we can actually remember seeing her every single day and spending the weekends at her house. We also would like to mention our Aunt Cindy Waller and our cousin Tina Harshaw who lost the battle. Certainly last but not least our family friend Lottie Green who is a survivor. To God be the Glory! This is the reason we race.
