I Too Am A Survivor - Sarah Crews
Fifty Two years ago this month I lost my Mother to breast cancer, I was ten months old. She was diagnosed at the age of 30, problem was back then there was little information and less research. My Daddy was amazing to me, after my Mother passed away he raised all four of us without even thinking about it, something that is rare these days. I was and have been truly blessed but I never want to quit fighting this disease because I never had the honor of knowing the wonderful woman that gave me life and in turn left three other children behind. You see, she was offered an option of abortion that might have prolonged her life but she felt God had a purpose for the child she was carrying and chose to have me! I am a survivor!
