My First Race

My First Race -Janice Cavender/Conway, Ar
This year will be my first Race. I lost a sister earlier this year to ovarian and colon cancers and have two friends and coworkers who are breast cancer survivors and others who have had scares. I and my daughter will walk this year to honor all of them. I would like to see the emphesis shift slightly to education as to the causes of cancers of the reproductive organs in women and men and how to eliminate these hazards from our lives to prevent these cancers from occuring. According to current research estrogen overload from phyto- and zenoestrogens seems to be responsible for these cancers and education for removing them from the environment should be at the top of everyones list.
