In Memory of My Mom, The Fighter- Ann Works
A few months back I wrote to tell you why I race. (My mother the fighter.) This year I did as I said I came in the top 50, but sadly my mother never got to receive the medal. She passed away Monday October 22 two days after the race due to complications with her treatment from the tumors.
I know now that she is cancer free along with all of those who have gone with her. I will race from now on not only in honor of my mother but in memory.
