Unfortunately in these hard economic times... some people are getting laid off. What you should do in case youre in line for a lay-off. First make sure youre organized. Print and take home personal files and update your resume. Get whats coming to you-- meaning take advantage of any perks and benefits. Get connected. everyday spend at least one or two hours networking. Also get searching. visit websites and check job listings. Get an exit strategy. Check on things like severance pay. Plus get fired up.... The best course of action is to stay positive and place yourself in a position of strength.
