Consumers Concerned About Food Prices

bananaIt may be no surprise to you, but a new USA Today-Gallup Poll shows that rising food prices are a concern for 73 percent of consumers.

It also states that almost half say the more it costs to fill their grocery cart, the more of a hardship it becomes.

Food inflation alone rose to an annual rate of 5.3 percent over the last three months with eggs and bananas having the highest percentage of increase.
