A second warehouse wholesaler says it will limit sales of various white rices. Wal-Mart-owned Sam's Club says the limits are being imposed, quote, "due to recent supply-and-demand trends."  Customers are being limited to four bags of Jasmine, Basmati and long-grain white rice’s per customer during each visit. The move by Sam's Club follows that of Costco, which had said it had seen an increase in sales of rice and flour. Fears of global food shortages are spurring customer demand for the items. Sales of flour and cooking oil at Sam's Club are not being limited at this time. The price of rice has more than doubled throughout the world over the past year amid factors such as increased demand and biofuel competitions.
