While it may seem all babies do is sleep -- new research finds some infants dont get enough of it.
And, it could impact their health down the road.
Out of 900 infants, those who get fewer than 12 hours of sleep had higher BMI levels than those who slept more than 12 hours.
They were also more likely to be overweight at age three.
Researchers suspect too little sleep at night leads to less activity during the day and more time for eating
