Hypertension Risk

If one or both of your parents has high blood pressure, chances are...you will, too. Out of 1- thousand men, those who had one or two parents diagnosed with hypertension before age 55 were at a much higher risk of developing high blood pressure, as well, especially at a younger age. If both parents have hypertension, the risk goes up by 20 percent.
