
Every year many people undergo surgery to look for blockage in the heart.
But, new technology, called a Coronary C-T Scanner, might make it easier to see heart problems, without going under the knife.
“We were able to do it with a little IV in the arm and get the same data and be able to say to the patient they have normal coronary arteries without the puncture of the groin, without the compression and without all the complications that can happen with catheterization."
The 3-D images can be examined at different angles and show fine detail.
