The FDA issues a warning about Chantix, a prescription medication used to help people stop smoking.
Chantix works by blocking some of the effects of nicotine on the brain.
But, after an investigation, the FDA says there's increased risk of depression, mood changes, and even suicidal thoughts and behavior associated with the drug.
The FDA's requested drug manufacturer Pfizer make warnings more clear on labels -- and recommends doctors closely monitor patients on the drug.
