Sequester Cuts Hit Northwest Arkansas Head Start Program

WASHINGTON COUNTY, AR -- The sequester is taking effect in Head Start classrooms in Northwest Arkansas.
Schools there were told at the beginning of the month to cut $150,000 from their current budget that they've already created.
Program Director Brenda Zedlitz says to handle this 5 percent slash, the schools must close their doors 13 days early.
