LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Republican gubernatorial candidate Curtis Coleman has announced his veterans initiative.

On Tuesday, Coleman explained his plans to enhance Arkansas' services to the state's veterans, as well as his campaign's Military and Veterans Affairs Coalition.

He says he's concerned about the treatment of veterans in the state, and finds things like the condition of the veterans home intolerable.

"It suggests adequate accountability and oversight," Coleman says. "If we make taking care of our veterans a priority, those kinds of things are not going to happen."

Coleman announced his candidacy for governor back in February.
