Inmate Found Dead at Pulaski County Jail

LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a jail inmate.

The body of Erik Canada, 34, of Roland, was found in his cell Sunday night.

According to the incident report, a jailer conducting a suicide watch check found the inmate unresponsive.

Canada's body is at the State Crime Lab for an autopsy.

Canada, who had been arrested last Wednesday, was being held on an alleged parole violation.
