LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS WERE OBSERVED ACROSS THE NATURAL STATE OVERNIGHT AS HIGH PRESSURE MOVED OVER THE REGION. A MOSTLY CLEAR SKY WAS ALSO OBSERVED...WITH TEMPERATURES THIS MORNING RANGING FROM THE UPPER 20S TO UPPER 30S. THE HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE EAST BY THIS AFTERNOON...WITH WINDS BECOMING SOUTHERLY ACROSS THE STATE. THIS SOUTHERLY FLOW WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO REBOUND INTO THE 60S AND 70S FOR AFTERNOON HIGHS...WITH MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES EXPECTED. EVEN WARMER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED FOR FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY AS SOUTHERLY WINDS PERSIST. AFTERNOON HIGHS FRIDAY WILL BE IN THE 70S TO AROUND 80...WITH LOWS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY MORNINGS IN THE 40S AND 50S. A COLD FRONT WILL DROP SOUTH INTO SOUTHERN MISSOURI AND NORTHERN ARKANSAS BY LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY...WITH RAIN CHANCES INCREASING ACROSS NORTHERN SECTIONS OF THE STATE. THESE RAIN CHANCES WILL PERSIST THROUGH SUNDAY AND INTO MONDAY AS THE FRONT BECOMES STALLED ACROSS SOUTHERN MISSOURI AND NORTHERN ARKANSAS. BY TUESDAY...MUCH DRIER AIR WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION AS THE COLD FRONT EXITS TO THE SOUTHEAST.
