WEST MEMPHIS, AR -- Officials have identified the body of a woman found in the 10 Mile Bayou.

Police say the body has been identified as 35-year-old Tracey Suzanne Brock, of West Memphis.

Brock was originally from Cross County and had been enrolled at Mid-South Community College, according to police.

The cause of death is currently unknown, but police are investigating and awaiting results from the Arkansas State Medical Examiner's Office.

"We would like to thank the members of our community for their cooperation and assistance in identifying the victim so proper notification could be made to her family and loved ones," WMPD's Captain Ken Mitchell said in a statement. "It may still take some time, though, to learn the cause and manner of her death."
