Unidentified Female Found Dead in West Memphis

The body has not been identified, but officers at the scene said it is not the body of missing 14-year-old Sidney Randall.
An Amber Alert was issued for the Walnut Ridge teen on Monday, but she has not been seen since Saturday night.
West Memphis Police issued the following news release regarding the discovery of the body:
On 03/12/2013, at approximately 12:50 P.M., West Memphis Police Officers responded to the 200 block of South Worthington in reference to a possible body in the "10 Mile Bayou". Upon arrival, officers located the body of what appeared to be an unidentified white female, approximately 30 to 45 years old, partially submerged in the water at the base of the bayou. Investigators made the scene and began processing it for evidence. There were no obvious signs of trauma to the victim. The body is being sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner's Office to try and determine the cause and manner of death. "This investigation is obviously in its' early stages and we hope to have a positive identification very soon and make proper notification to the victim's family. At this time, there are no other details that the West Memphis Police Department feels are appropriate to release."
