LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Students and parents got a glimpse of life after high school on Tuesday.

Schools and employers across the state were at the annual Little Rock School District Career Fair, where they met with those looking for opportunities after graduation.

The students learned more about two-year colleges and technical schools; and also had the opportunity to meet with representatives from the police and fire departments, the military and other areas they may be interested in.

"What piqued my interest is I want to become a nurse, and I talked to a woman at UAMS nursing," said Hamilton Learning Academy's Andrea Avaece.

The career fair was held at Pulaski Technical College's south campus.
