Thirteen thousand participants running along Little Rock streets on Sunday, which means some roads you frequently travel will be closed.

The races take place on Sunday at 8 a.m., and it's expected to last more than 8 hours.

Organizers recommend you get find alternate routes to take Sunday because some roads will be closed.

The marathon brings not only people, but also money, to Little Rock.

"The marathon has about a five million dollar economic impact to the city of Little Rock. If you think we have a field of 13,300 runners there will probably bring family, more than 1 or 2 family members, friends, everyone coming out to see," Linda Sue Sanders said.
