Arkansas Baptist College to Dedicate Research Institute in Honor of Slain Student

Arkansas Baptist College is honoring the memory of a student who was murdered on campus last year.

The school will dedicate the new Derek Olivier research institute in honor of Olivier, was shot and killed last September while helping a fellow student change a flat tire.

The new institute aims to focus on civil responsibility, specifically in preventing black on black crime.

Olivier's killer has never been identified, and there is a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
