Eastbound Interstate 30 at mile marker 115 in Saline County has been reopened, according to a tweet sent out by the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.
An accident earlier this morning has stopped eastbound traffic on Interstate 30 in Benton.
It happened around 7:00, leaving one tractor-trailer rig on its side and backing up traffic for miles.
The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) says traffic is being diverted off the freeway and down Sevier Street so wrecker crews can clear the scene.
The AHTD says it will likely be noon before the scene is cleared and traffic is allowed through the area.
Officials on the scene tell KARK 4 News that the 18-wheeler was carrying frozen chicken for the Land O'Lakes company.
