Arkansas Woman Killed in South Missouri Car Crash

LAMPE, MO - An Arkansas woman has died in a car crash in southern Missouri.

It happened about two miles south of Lampe on Thursday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Miranda L. White, 37, of Bentonville, was driving her Chevy Malibu south on Missouri 13 when her car went off the road and hit a tree.

Emergency crews, including response from the Southern Stone County (Missouri) Fire Protection District, arrived on the scene around 8:00 a.m.

White was pronounced dead at the scene about a half-hour later.

The Patrol says White was not wearing a seat belt. No one else was injured in the crash.
