According to a Pulaski County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) arrest report, 27-year-old Starkeshia Perkins was in a group of people that were screaming obscenities just outside the courtroom where former Little Rock Police officer Josh Hastings was entering a not guilty plea for manslaughter.
Perkins is reportedly a cousin of Bobby Moore, who was shot and killed by then Officer Hastings, who was on duty at the time.
As Hastings was being led out of the courtroom following the hearing, the report says Perkins ran over and spat on him.
Before reportedly spitting on Hastings, Perkins was shouting obscenities and said several times that she was "going to go to jail today," according to the report.
Perkins was taken into custody and told she would not be allowed to attend Hastings' trial in June and that a no-contact order had been issued by the judge.
According to the report, Perkins told the arresting deputy that she let her emotions get the best of her and knew her conduct would land her in jail.
Starkeshia Perkins is charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
