Update: Power Being Restored for First Electric Members, Entergy Outages Near 3,000

7:10 p.m. Update:
LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Power has been restored to all but 131 First Electric members as of 7 p.m.

The co-op says crews will continue working as quickly and safely as possible to restore the six remaining outages spread across six counties.

Members out by county include:

Faulkner - 10
Lonoke - 27
Perry - 1
Prairie - 1
Pulaski - 32
White - 60

As of 7:10 Monday evening, 2,953 Entergy customers were without power.


The Monday evening rainstorm is knocking out power to thousands of Arkansans.

As of 6:30 Monday evening, Entergy is reporting just over 3,818 customers in the dark.

First Electric is also feeling the effects of the storm, as they report just over 6,800 members without electricity as of 6:30.
