Retired North Little Rock Teacher Honored at Sundance Film Festival

A former teacher in Central Arkansas has been honored at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

Retired North Little Rock High School drama teacher Carol Ann McAdams received the Sundance Film Festival's Creative Coalition award for making a difference in the life of actress Joey Lauren Adams.

The "Chasing Amy" star tearfully presented McAdams with the award after sharing her story at The Creative Coalition Teachers Making a Difference Luncheon.
