Some temporary neurological conditions might foreshadow strokes or even dementia.
Symptoms can include short episodes of confusion, amnesia... and mini-strokes.
Researchers in the Netherlands found all of the symptoms were associated with
an increased risk for strokes and heart disease.
And temporary neurological problems like dizziness, amnesia and confusion were
linked not only with stroke, but also dementia.
The study included more than 6-thousand patients over age 55 who were followed
for about 15 years.
