Karoline Wightman is a general assignment reporter who joined us in August of 2010.
Before coming to Little Rock, Karoline worked at several television stations across the country as a photographer, reporter, anchor and weather personality. She most recently worked at KOLO 8 News Now as the Daybreak anchor and reporter.
Karoline says one of the highlights of working in television is getting to meet new people everyday and learning more about the community in which she lives.
One of her favorite moments as a reporter was being embedded with the Oregon National Guard during training exercises at Camp Shelby, Mississippi.
Her least favorite part of the job is having to interview family members of someone who has died tragically. "I'm very sensitive and compassionate. I try to treat people the way I would want to be treated."
Karoline is always looking for story ideas, and enjoys giving a voice to those who might not otherwise have a way to tell their story.
