Update: Entergy Outages at 7,200+

Update (January 30, 8:00 a.m.):

Entergy Arkansas is now reporting 7,235 outages.

Most of those are in Union and Jefferson counties.

First Electric Cooperatives report 14 outages, mostly in Cleburne County, but also have a few in Jefferson County.

Update (January 29, 10:00 p.m.):
Entergy Arkansas is now reporting 11,688 outages.

First Electric Cooperative members are also feeling the effects of the storm, as crews are responding to 15 outages across five counties caused by tonight's severe weather.

Approximately 748 First Electric members are without service as of 9:30 p.m.

Members out by county include:
Cleburne - 333
Independence - 64
Saline - 312
Stone - 36
White - 3

9:00 p.m. Update:
Entergy outages now total 7,097.

According to Entergy's website, 12 outages in Pine Bluff have left 1,341 customers without power.

Original Story (8:30 p.m.):
Some Entergy customers are experiencing power outages as severe weather rolls through Central Arkansas.

According to the Entergy website, 3,449 customers were without power as of 8:30 Tuesday night.

Most of the outages in Little Rock have occurred near the Park Plaza Mall, where Entergy says a tree has fallen on their equipment.

There is currently no word on when power might be restored.
