All the debris from that storm could make the one rolling into that much worse.

There are still piles of tree limbs and branches on the streets in Little Rock.

All throughout the day, state emergency workers were warning people to try to trim broken or weak branches that may be hanging near homes and power lines--fearing they'll come down.

Little Rock city workers, too, took to the streets trying to cut down on potential damages.

But homeowners we talked to say it may not be enough.

"I can't get out and do anything myself," said Karen East.

Homeowner Karen East, laid up after rotator cuff surgery, can only stare at the giant debris piles outside her home on Indian Trail. She's fed-up they're still there, worried about what's coming.

"Very nervous, very nervous, there ain't nothing you can do about the weather," said East.

Aside from blocking her view of the road these heaps are also blocking the drainage ditch and with impending storms:

"I am worried about flooding," she said.

Tuesday, Little Rock city workers put boots on the ground, taking a trimmer to tangled vines that could come down during the storm and block culverts.

"If it gets stuck in this here, it can flood this whole neighborhood out right here," said Supervisor Julie Cauffiel.

Cauffiel says they actually pulled some crews away from picking up debris to do this work.

Flooding concerns are the priority as they string up huge limbs and lift them to a truck.

Though her guys have run nearly non-stop since Christmas, she says they'll rise to the challenge ahead of-and after- this storm.

"We are getting prepared for it, we've got extra crews to come out in case we need extra help," Cauffiel said.

But East says she's losing confidence sick of seeing these branches, afraid now of flooding and flying debris.

"It could fly into our cars, our animals, it could hurt anything," said East.

Now, though, there's little to do but wait.

"Probably won't get much sleep tonight worried about what's happening outside."

Little Rock crews swear they're doing what they can to get all the debris piles picked up but homeowners say they need to do more before the problem gets compounded.
