Children at the Little Rock Islamic Center were part of a very inspiring ritual this morning. It’s the Hajj ritual which is actually the fifth pillar of Islam.

This ritual is a mock pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia where Hajj actually takes place.

The children walked in a show of unity and praise to Allah.

"The importance of Hajj is the unity in Islam. The black, the white, the brown, the rich, the poor all over the world that can come together and this is the place where the first house of worship was built,” says Hashim Ghori, spokesperson for the Islamic Center in Little Rock.

Muslims believe there is only one god, much like Jews and Christians.

The Islamic faith also believes in Jesus and other biblical prophets.
