Little Rock dedicated a new roundabout on Monday at Rebsamen Park Road.

Set on the Arkansas River trail, it's a blend of engineering, horticulture and art, including a sculpture in the center of the roundabout by artist Kevin Robb, titled "Playing Ball."

"It brings joy to a city, it brings people here," says Jane Rogers with the Sculptures at the River Market Committee. "In the community, it changes attitudes."

A 2001 study found crashes reduced by 40 percent when traditional intersections were converted to roundabouts.
