Arkansas's Second District Congressman Adding Conway Office

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: January 23, 2013
Arkansas's Second District congressman is expanding his operations to reach more constituents.

Rep. Tim Griffin issued the following statement announcing the reorganization and the opening of another office in Conway:

"In order to serve my constituents better, I'm opening an office in Conway.  We are expanding access--with no additional cost to taxpayers--by adding a Conway office and shedding excess office space in Little Rock.  Our new Conway district office will allow us to provide even greater service throughout Arkansas's Second District, and I hope folks will stop by our grand opening."

In addition to the new district office, Griffin has reorganized and relocated his existing staff so that each office will have a military and veterans caseworker. He has also created the position of a federal grants coordinator in the district to help local organizations and communities navigate the federal grant process. The Conway office will provide additional internship opportunities for area college students.

Griffin and the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce will host a grand opening and open house on Thursday, January 31, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CT.  The event is open to the public.

The new Conway office is located at 1105 Deer St., Suite 12, Conway, AR 72032 and can be reached by telephone at (501) 358-3481.

Congressman Griffin was re-elected as the 24th representative of Arkansas's Second Congressional District in November. For the 113th Congress, he is a member of the House Committee on Ways and Means while also serving as an Assistant Whip for the majority.  In the 112th Congress, he served as a member of the House Armed Services Committee, the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and the House Committee on the Judiciary.

Griffin's other congressional offices are located in Little Rock and Washington, and are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT, except for federal holidays. Click here for office addresses and directions.
