Man Hit by Car, Killed on I-30 Service Road in Benton

The Benton Police Department (BNPD) is investigating after a man was hit by a car and killed over the weekend.
It happened around 9:30 Saturday night on an Interstate 30 Service Road near the Haskell exit.
The victim was identified as Willie Donson, 41. The BNPD says Donson, who was wearing dark-colored clothing, was walking east on the service road.
No charges have been filed against the driver who hit Donson.
The BNPD asks that anyone with information about the accident to call (501) 778-1171 or (501) 315-TIPS. Anonymous text messages may also be sent to CRIMES (274637) with the keyword BNPD in the body of the text.
