"This'll be the safest place to eat in Arkansas on Saturday," said owner Bill Little.

The sign for his restaurant said it all, if you have a concealed hand gun license this Saturday you eat free.

"We're doing this promotion to make awareness to the constitution," said Little. "Without the second amendment there wouldn't even be a first amendment."

He said the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

Something echoed by customers like Mark Crumpton.

"I think it's a great deal," said Crumpton.

Ironically each customer who supported the promotion doesn't have their license, but then again neither does Little.

"I don't feel guns are the problem," he said.

Of course not everyone is getting behind the idea of this promotion.

The KARK Facebook page had comments asking why the owners aren't feeding the homeless or perhaps a family who is struggling to make ends meet.

Little said he's thought of that as well, and his restaurant actually does a lot for their community.
