The Arkansas Martin Luther King, Jr. commission is gearing up for another trip to Washington D.C. for the Presidential Inauguration.

The commission will take six bus loads of Arkansans and people in the surrounding areas, who will leave Saturday and make stops in Memphis, Knoxville and Virginia.

They will take a tour of the nation's capitol, attend the inaugural parade and the Arkansas ball before heading off to the inauguration.

"We have individuals from all political backgrounds that will be at this occasion, ranging from Democrat, Republican and independent coming together for one reason: to salute our Commander in Chief, President Barack Obama," says Executive Director for the Arkansas MLK Commission Dushun Scarbrough.

There will be ambassadors from around the state as well as college and high school students who will be on the trip to Washington.
