KARK 4 Today's Mallory Hardin sat down with Susan Gele from the Central Arkansas Library System to talk about a new reading incentive, New Year, New Reads.
New Year New Reads, is an adult winter reading program sponsored by the Central Arkansas Library System. Read or listen to a book, write a review, and submit at the branch, via email to NewYearNewReads@cals.org, or tweet to #NewYearNewReads.
Reviews submitted online are eligible to win a Kindle Fire. Not necessary to register, but packets of information are available at all branches. Branches will have door prizes for reviews submitted there.

Here is a look at some of the books will want to read during the new year:
Eat This Not That Supermarket Guide - Guide to healthy, inexpensive food choices. Also includes how to shop the produce aisle - familiar fruits & veggies, and more exotic items like arugula, papaya & pomegranates, amazing meals under $10
Green Weddings - Guide to planning a green wedding. Includes green terminology like carbon footprint, fair trade. How to make choices that have the least impact on the environment. Eco-tourism info to help plan the honeymoon.
Dream Eyes - 2nd in a series by Jayne Ann Krentz. A psychic thriller/murder mystery with the main characters developing a relationship together.
Collateral Damage - Latest Stuart Woods Stone Barrington Novel. Just came out on Monday. Stone Barrington is a lawyer who worked for the police force before going to work for a law firm investigating cases. The latest one involves terrorists, bombs, and murder. 25th book in a series that are interconnected.
