Bald Knob Man Standing Outside Car Killed on Highway 67

A Bald Knob man has died in an accident in icy conditions on Highway 67.
It happened Tuesday night just before 5:30, according to the Arkansas State Police.
The victim is identified as Delbert Brooks, 37.
According to the incident report, Brooks and another driver headed south had stopped their cars on the shoulder of Highway 67 just outside Bald Knob and Brooks was standing outside his vehicle.
The driver of a third vehicle headed north then lost control, crossed the median and hit Brooks, as well as the other two cars.

Delbert Brooks was not just standing outside his car, he was working. He was working trying to get a car out of the ditch when another vehicle lost control. His family owned and operated Brooks Wrecker
