A new study finds enriching your diet with colorful berries may help ward off a heart attack.
Fruits and veggies like grapes and eggplant are high in flavodnoids, which have been shown in lab studies to have heart-healthy effects.
Harvard researches followed 93,000 women for nearly two decades.
They were interested specifically in how often the women ate blueberries or strawberries.
The fruits are high in flavonoids and commonly used in western diets.
Those who ate the most -- at least three servings a week, reduced their risk of a heart attack by a third.
This study just another one proving you really are what you eat.
