I know you're likely just waking up, but think about you when fall asleep at night, do you or your children leave the TV on?
A new study shows that could impact the amount of sleep those kids are getting.
Researchers in New Zealand tracked 2,000 kids' and teens' activities during the hour and a half before bedtime.
TV dominated the pre-bedtime routines, accounting for about 30 of those 90 minutes.
Those who watched more television in the evenings fell asleep later -- and consequently got less shut-eye -- than other kids.
And while most everyone loves a little television...We certainly do here...If you want the best sleep for your kids, see if they can watch a little less of it right before they head to bed.
