Searcy Police responded to an alarm call just after 5:00 Monday morning at the DCC and, upon arrival, noticed the fire on the north side of the building.
The fire was extinguished approximately 30 minutes later.
An investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Arkansas State Police and Searcy Police determined that the cause of the fire was a "definite arson," according to Searcy Police.
Those three agencies are offering a $5,000 reward to anybody with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved.
